Coffee may bring a temporary boost to your energy, but relying on caffeine can become inconvenient and borderline unhealthy. Instead of drinking coffee, try adding of these methods to feel superior and alert from morning to night.

Take a cold shower/cold soak Splashing your skin with cold water will not only make you feel more alert it will instantly cause an adrenaline rush, this experience stimulates deep breathing while increasing the circulation and the oxygen in your body.

  • (Keep in mind to anyone with a heart condition, avoid submerging yourself suddenly in cold water, The stress can cause “cold shock” and increase your chances of heart problems.)
